Linh Đạo Dòng Thương Khó Chúa Giêsu
Passionists take a vow to live and promote ‘the living memory’ of the Passion. In doing this, we seek to live daily life with the same openness to God that Jesus displayed in his Passion and death, and we lead others through our homilies, talks, pastoral counseling etc, to discover this same openness in their lives.
We are called to be ‘living memorials’ of the Passion of Jesus. This operates at our deepest core and should be observable in how we deal with the unexpected, disappointment and pain. We strive to be open to God’s will more than seeking to understand it.
Our charism calls for us to challenge those things in our life and our culture that encourage self-interest and discourage awareness of God.
