Passionist Companions

Our Passionist Family includes professed and lay men and women. We welcome all who wish to stand at the foot of the cross to contemplate the love of God, to proclaim its saving power within the ordinariness of our daily lives.
Our family shares a ‘down to earth’ spirituality that invites us to stand in the shadow of the cross with genuine hope for a shared Christian life.
We are called to community and mission. We draw on prayer to sustain our fellowship, joy and service to and with each other.
BELONGING AS A COMPANION
Becoming a companion begins by attending meetings with a local group or a period of ‘Come and See. ’ Following discernment and upon request, a person will become a Passionist Companion.
Companions gather regularly throughout the year for reflection on the Charism and Spirituality of St. Paul of the Cross. Major feasts are celebrated, and an Annual Retreat is shared. Gatherings are also social so as to form a friendly and supportive spiritual community.
AIMS
To deepen our spirituality through immersion in and sharing of the Passionist Charism – a unique gift of Passionist spirituality
To explore, reflect on and nurture Passionist spirituality with like-hearted people
To live the Passionist Charism in everyday circumstances – within our families, our homes, our communities, our places of work, our parishes and all our relationships.
