Feast of Ss Simon and Jude, Apostles
Readings:
Ephesians 2:19-22
Luke 6:12-16
Reflection:
We enter into prayer with Jesus who prayed all night to God, as we also seek to define our relationship with the world around us. We seek an answer to the question
Who am I as a human being?
Who am I as a disciple of Christ Crucified?
St Paul gives you the answer in Ephesians 2:19-22.
You are no longer foreigners and aliens,
You are fellow citizens with God’s people and members of God’s household.
You are part of the building built on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets with Christ Jesus as the chief cornerstone.
In him, the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord.
And in him, you too are being built together to become a dwelling place in which Christ lives by his Spirit
This is who we are as members of the Passionist Family.
Let our prayer be one of celebration.
