Reflection:

Do we realise that our destiny is tied to helping others? Our assignment is tied to building the kingdom. It’s not greedy to want to take our family to the next level. It’s not wrong to want to see our business blessed so you can support the kingdom in a greater way. The key is, Where is your heart?

In today’s Gospel, we read, ‘For, you must know, the kingdom of God is among you… They will say to you, “Look there!” or, “Look here!” Make no move; do not set off in pursuit; for as the lightning flashing from one part of heaven lights up the other, so will be the Son of Man when his day comes’.

When our heart is to honour God with what He’s blessed us with, to bless our family and to be a bigger blessing to others, we can ask for big things and watch what God will do. It’s going to take bold prayers to do the awesome things God has called us to do and be prepared for our final destination. We haven’t seen, heard, or imagined what God has in store for us. So, let’s start praying to make a difference in our families and communities and to leave the world a better place.

We thank You, Lord, for making us realise that You are our only way, truth and life and that when we put You and Your kingdom first and do the right thing, You do awesome things through us. Thank You for Your promise that as we honour You, and live with the right motives and make a difference today and all through our life on earth to reach you, which is our final destination.
