Reflection

Psalm 23: The Lord is my Shepard,

I don’t know about you, but when I hear this scripture, it takes me back in time. I always feel connected to my catholic roots and the time when I started to connect with God loving ME (actually little me) when I read this scripture.  It is here that I am wrapped in the loving arms of God.  Feeling completely loved, completely trusting, completely secure and full of hope that God has got this!

Whether I hear this scripture in song (there are so many lovely versions) or in spoken word scripture, it’s timeless and speaks of a God who wants to be close to us. Who is knocking at the door of our hearts, waiting patiently for us to open the door and take God’s hand and say, “Yes, God… let’s go!”

Wherever he leads me… wherever he goes.

Spend some time today in the adoration of a God who won’t abandon you, won’t let you walk alone, and will always show up in some way, hopefully leading you to greener pastures where love is met with a confirmation that you and God have got this! “For your endless mercy follows me; your goodness will lead me home”.
