1 Corinthians 1:1-9
Matthew 24:42-51

Reflection:

1 Corinthians 1:1-9   You have been enriched in so many ways by Christ

Matthew 24:42-51   Stay awake and be ready because you do not know the day when your master is coming.

A simple reflective exercise for today

Focus:             Pray for the grace to recognise the presence of God in each person you meet today.

Method

Read the sentence below, which is St Paul’s in his 1st Letter to the Corinthians 1:4 writing to the Corinthian community about their God given gifts and place the name/s of those people whose gifts and talents have enriched your life through their wisdom, guidance, love and compassion shared with you.

Let this be a prayer of gratitude

N……….  I never stop thanking God for all the graces you have received through Jesus Christ. I thank him that you have been enriched in so many ways (you may pause and recall their gifts) ……….and I have benefited from your generous outreach to me.

You can invoke this prayer as many times as the Spirit calls you to remember and celebrate your life in Christ.
