A way of reading, praying and reflecting
on the Passionist Charism

The 2006 Programme, the third in a series to be offered in recent years, provides a way of reading, praying and reflecting on the Passionist Charism.

Each month new material will be uploaded to this web site.

The Programme comprises of three segments -

The first reflects on the life, spirituality and teachings of St. Paul of the Cross.

The second invites Passionist Companions to take up the Passion of Jesus in the Gospel of St. Luke for their own personal reading, prayer and reflection during the year.

The third celebrates some of the many men and women who have lived the Passionist Charism since the time of St. Paul of the Cross.

The Programme can be used either individually, in groups of Passionist Companions or by Communities.

THE PASSIONIST SAINTS
The 2006 Passionist Companions Programme will celebrate the lives of some of our Passionist heroes. Each month we will learn a little more of  some of the men and women who have lived the Passionist Charism since the time of St. Paul of the Cross. As we reflect on their lives, we could ask for their assistance in living the Passionist Charism today.

Blessed Bernard Mary Silvestrelli
Blessed Bishop Eugene Bossilkov

St. Paul of the Cross gathered companions who shared his dream, his special charism, or gift, to keep the Passion of Jesus Christ always on his mind, on his lips, and in his heart.

Over the years, men and women have worked hard and given much of themselves to keep Paul's vision alive, to carry on the work of proclaiming Christ Crucified to a suffering world.
